The Australian Housing Economics Network (AHEN) is a national platform to grow housing economics capability, consolidate knowledge about housing economics, and build a critical mass of researchers able to advance a rigorous, policy-relevant evidence base for housing through an economic lens.
The Network is committed to encouraging diverse, robust and inclusive debate and inquiry of housing economics in Australia by:
Advancing high-quality housing economics research and its translation into policy and practice;
Strengthening national collaboration and connectivity among housing economists in Australia;
Promoting the consolidation, dissemination and impact of housing economics research findings;
Mentoring and support of emerging housing economists in Australia, including students and early career researchers.
